Been to Hokkaido and back!
Lovely place, lovely weather, alittle rainy but not enough to dampen the fun :) Good food and plenty of it. Some highlights:
- Playing with snow on a mountain!
- Sleeping on mattress placed on the floor in a Japanese Hot Spring (Onsen) Inn
- Communal bathing and soaking in the hot spring - even in the cold outdoors
Photos will take time to process because the house needs some cleaning first. But we'll get there eventually.... :P
Tour guide was a riot, schedule was tight but still comfortable. Unfortunately the company of the tour group left alot to be desired :S
Still it was an enjoyable holiday and a good break :)
