Happy anniversary to us!!! We are traditionally 2 years married.
The husband was very sweet. Last Friday evening he surprised me with a bouquet of red roses and a mango cake! :D
Yesterday we had a very nice celebratory lunch at Garibaldi. Damn the pasta was good! I had foie-gras and hand-made spinach noodles with braised duck, while he had a very worthwhile set lunch that included a shrimp salad, Fettucine with a delicate mushroom cream sauce, and home-made strawberry ice cream with fruits. He loved the ice cream so much I couldn't resist and ordered a serving for myself. :P
The food was great, every dish was a hit! The restaurant was intimate and the service very good. I thought I'd get my pasta craving sated, but having had such good food, I now want more! :P
What a nice weekend of celebrations! :)
