Ultrasound scan 3

Our third visit to the gynae. Baby is now 11 weeks and 4 days old. It's excting when we can make out the shape of a foetus for the first time - wow a real life baby!

At first, baby was still. I wondered out loud, "How come baby isn't moving?" Then he started to do "the worm"! LOL it was funny to see him wriggle about and kick and move. :) Can baby really hear and understand us??

The doctor measured the space behind baby's neck - the nuchal translucency.   This is to check for signs of Down Syndrome.  The NT measurement turned out to be normal.
