My Gynae

This is like a Primary School english composition entitled "My Mother". LOL But here goes.

My gynae's clinic is in Mt Elizabeth Hospital. He delivered my two siblings, my mom strongly recommended him so I just went to him once I tested positive, without "asking around the market".

So far the check-ups have been enjoyable and our experiences positive. He is jovial and concerned and I think hubster and I can "click" with him. The highlight of each visit is the ultrasound scan. I especially like that we get souvenirs from the check-ups - free print-outs of the scans! Without us asking for them too. Also, he readily offers MC to cover the day before I ask for them LOL. These traits of his are endearing to me.

Another plus point of his is his dexterity with the needle. On my fifth checkup, they had to draw blood to do some tests. The nurse failed to draw any blood because of my fine veins and fatty arm. Luckily she wasn't the type who had something to prove; she gave up after one try and got the gynae. The gynae took over and got it in one poke! Wow I'm won over lah.

Being a private clinic the waiting time is shorter. The nurses are very chirpy, polite and on-the-ball, so our experience with the gynae and his clinic has been very positive.
