Yesterday I went to Takashimaya for their Cardmember's Sale. 15% discount with the card. Didn't have much time so it was a very focused and fast shopping session.
The place was packed at 4pm. Crazy crowded, especially at the Household Department - Auntie's haven. Seemed like most of Singapore skipped work to shop.
Found some nice deals at the Tiger thermos items section. :D
Finally splurged on the Tiger 4.5L Magic Pot / Thermal cooking pot. What sealed the deal was the free item that came with it - Endo 1.8L Thermal cooking pot. Perfect for cooking porridge for boy.
Also bought a Tiger food jar for future porridge portability. Came with an FOC 0.8L hot water flask, very handy.
Bought a small saucepan from Endo, the smallest I could find at the department, for porridge cooking.
At the baby department, picked up babysafe pillow and cases. Bought an Evenflo bottle to try - turned out to be compatible with Nuk teats, so will be making the switch soon. And finally splurged on a Guess T shirt. Pricey! But nice detailing. For CNY lah (best excuse hoho).
Happy day shopping, though too short, but guess that eliminated frivolous spending and kept me focused. Will be back maybe tomorrow for more Evenflo bottles. Must remember to utilize all vouchers!!
Hope to break open the Tiger magic pot this weekend! Maybe pumpkin soup?
